Sheppy Scotch Glue is a high quality animal bone glue, manufactured from selected raw materials. It has a breaking strain far in excess of British Standard 745 requirements, and is recommended for antique restoration, piano actions, sports goods, high class furniture, chair frames, veneering, and any trade where a first class, long-lasting joint is necessary. Many of our customers claim that once used, they never return to Pearl glue.

Pearl glue is a traditional animal glue, derived from animal protein. This glue is of low colour and odour, dissolving readily in water.

Pearl and Ground Glue can also be used in a wide range of applications, from sizing canvas to jointing scenery framework.

Sheppy Glutina D3 (Fish Glue Replacement), Glutina D3 may be used as a replacement for Fish glue for many applications, but as it has slightly different characteristics, a small test area should be treated first to ensure that it is a suitable replacement for a particular application.

Sheppy Jelly Adhesive - C1 Flex, specially formulated natural adhesive of low odour. It's high solids and being fully flexible give it a wide application for book binding, spine work and case making operations.

Sheppy Jelly Adhesive - CB4 is a natural adhesive of low odour, it has a wide application in the book binding industry. Its special chemical additives give it a longer open time than normal, but nevertheless still retaining a good initial tack. It can be applied by brush for spine work or by machine (i.e. Balema, Swift or Nubal) for hand assembled case making, and is eminently suitable for conservation work.
